Ukrainian startup launches ICO to develop “revolutionary” lead generation platform

Snovio, which touts itself as “the world’s first decentralized sourcing and lead generation platform,” announced that it raised $725,000 in its pre-ICO campaign last month. The company expects to raise up to $10 million till November 30. [Update: the company raised around $2.1 million]

Among the early backers are San Francisco-based hedge fund BitFin Capital, business angel Eugene Medvednikov, Japanese entrepreneur and Snovio project advisor Tomoaki Sato, and a pool of private investors from the US and China.

So far the company offers such services as domain search (get fast access to emails along with names and job positions from various domains), LinkedIn email search (find and save emails of LinkedInners), and search of contacts through a company information database.

Snovio’s client portfolio includes such companies as SoundCloud, Uber, Lenovo, and Oracle.

Driven by the idea “to change outdated methods of lead generation,” the startup now aims to provide “high-quality leads” through the use of Blockchain technology, smart contracts and crowdsourcing data collection methods.

Snovio was founded by Alexis Kratko, CEO in 2016. Besides Kratko, the startup’s Kyiv (Kiev)-based managing team includes Rodion Yaremenko, CTO, Daria Shevchenko, CMO and Julia Zubok, marketing and customer care.
