Printify, a California-based company connecting online merchants to print-on-demand and dropshipping providers, has launched a special program in support of Ukrainians.
“The unsettling events in Ukraine have had a severe impact on Ukrainian society, with millions of nationals being left without shelter, food and income while trying to rebuild their lives,” acknowledges the Californian company, which wants to help Ukrainians “create a source of revenue through the platform.”
As part of the program, Printify is offering a $100 store credit to Ukrainians who open their free account “to help them get started and cover their first orders.”
“Printify has been following the situation in Ukraine since the first days of war, looking for ways to proactively help Ukrainian society, including our colleagues from the region. As regular donations are just one of the ways to help, we have now launched a new support program on Printify platform that allows Ukrainians to earn income by starting their online business. While we are aware that we are not able to help the entire Ukrainian society, we believe that in the digital age, when ecommerce is one of top business sectors, this opportunity will serve as a stepping stone for at least some Ukrainians to provide for themselves and gradually rebuild their lives.” — Davis Sarmins, Head of Marketing
By receiving a six-month premium subscription, Ukrainian new users will enjoy up to 20% discount on all products available on the platform.
“We live in a very privileged society that has the opportunity to express its support for the Ukrainian people,” said Davis Sarmins, Head of Marketing at Printify, which has raised more than $54 million since its inception.
