As municipal acceleration programs are getting more and more popular in Poland, Krakow’s KRK Road to Success is inviting young Ukrainian startups to join its program.
Together with Ad Ventures, the municipal authorities have opened a call for applications to their first batch of pre-acceleration program. These three days of intensive mentoring, meetings with investors and local startup community will take place in November.
Participants will also gain valuable knowledge and skills in the fields of customer validation, pitching, marketing, business modeling, product development and prototyping.
Pitch training, on the other hand, will help teams express their ideas, present their projects and sell their products in the best possible way.
The program is intended for early-stage startups before product launch. They will receive feedback from international investors, learn how to improve their projects and increase their chances on the international startup scene.
KRK Road to Success is completely free of charge with no equity expected.
Neither will Ukrainian startups even have to pay for their accommodation in Krakow or their travel from Kiev or Lviv (Lvov), since these costs will be covered by the Kraków city authorities.
“We believe that Ukrainian teams will get many benefits from participation in this program. Besides the obvious ones like getting feedback on their projects and learning how to pitch their idea to investors, they will also get in touch with the local community and learn more about the Polish market and business environment,” said Rafał Kulczycki, City Development Department Director, City of Krakow.
“Thus we hope to encourage Ukrainian startup entrepreneurs to set up their future company in Krakow,” the official added.
- Applications may be submitted online until October 15 on www.krkroad.pl website. The pre-acceleration program will take place on November 7-9.
