Four Ukrainian universities team up to launch student business incubation network

YEP Incubators, which is presented as the first Ukrainian network of academic business incubators, will launch its first incubation program in April. Startups are invited to apply till March 26. A Demo Day is scheduled for June 10, 2017.

Four Ukrainian universities — Kyiv National Economic University, National Aviation University, Taras Shevchenko University and Donetsk National Technical University — are involved in the project.

As part of this nine-week free program, the selected teams will benefit from lectures and workshops, and enjoy a working place at one of the YEP coworking spaces. Mentors from Ukraine, Poland and Israel will share their expertise with the participants.

In addition, the participants will be able to pitch their projects at InnoTech, a major tech conference. They may also participate in the LegalTech lab of Axon Partners, and continue working on their projects at the VDNG -TECh accelerator.

The initiative is supported by Cisco Ukraine.
