Ukrainian public e-procurement system comes to Moldova

ProZorro, a public e-procurement system made in Ukraine, has been launched in Moldova by local Ministry of Finance with support from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

After operating in a test mode for two months, M-Tender has processed 13 e-tenders and saved the state 97,000 Moldovian lei (almost $23,000 at the current exchange rate).

Seven government entities are using the system. Private and public players aer expected to join in the nearest future.

The platform is expected to be fully operational next year.

In Ukraine, ProZorro claims to have processed more than 736,000 tenders and saved the state 21.5 billion hryvnias (almost $801 million at the current exchange rate) since its launch in early 2015.
