US-Ukrainian medtech startup Cardiomo wins Techstars pitch competition

On January 12 Cardiomo, a US-Ukrainian AI-powered health monitoring startup, announced that it had won the international Techstars startup pitch competition held as part of the CES 2018 in Las Vegas.

The startup was awarded an app-controlled BB-8 drone, a 30-day guaranteed placement on Amazon.com Exclusive and $5,000 worth credits from Twilio, a cloud communications platform.

Founded in 2014 by Roman and Ksenia Belkin, Cardiomo offers “the first consumer health monitoring ecosystem” — which consists of a wearable patch monitoring user’s vitals and a mobile app. All the data is stored on the cloud and analyzed by an AI-powered algorithm.
