The Ukrainian fashion marketplace Love&Live has attracted funding for the second time from SMRK VC. The amount of the deal was not disclosed, but the company was valued at $10 million, as reported by local tech blog AIN.UA.
Love&Live needed fresh money to strengthen its positions on the domestic market and develop on the Polish market, where it entered just weeks ago. It also plans to enter the German and UK later this year, according to AIN.
The company claims to have reached profitability in April 2020.
SMRK VC launched in November 2013 to invest in startups from Ukraine and other CEE countries at the pre-seed and seed stage. The fund invested in such companies as AmazingHiring, a Moscow-based service for finding IT professionals; adtech startup Madberry; smart home security startup Ajax; and crypto trading startup Superorder.io.
Many of SMRK VC’s portfolio companies moved their headquarters to the USA. Thus, just weeks ago, SMRK VC took part in a follow-on round for AllSet (previously known as Settle), a successful meal ordering startup operating exclusively on the US market.
