Last week US game publisher TinyBuild announced a $3 million investment in Hologryph, a Ukrainian game studio known for the game Secret Neighbor. Hologryph’s valuation was not disclosed, but VentureBeat reported that the deal will give TinyBuild a majority stake in the company.
Hologryph studio is based in Lviv, Western Ukraine, and has 11 employees with plans to expand to more than 20. Its flagship game Secret Neighbor features a group of kids trying to sneak into the house of their creepy neighbor.
TinyBuild’s CEO Alex Nichiporchik said in an email to GamesBeat that the investment will be used to expand the Hologryph team as it works on a next-generation console game.
