Miratech, an international IT service provider founded in 1989 in Ukraine — now headquartered in New York City — opened a new R&D center in Bangalore earlier this month, following another one in Toronto in August 2022.
These new centers are part of Miratech’s global expansion, company representatives told AIN Capital The company already has development centers or offices more than 15 countries in the world, from the USA, to Western Europe, to Latin America, to Turkey.
Under plans, the new Toronto will employ some 50 engineers within a year. Ukrainian employees may relocate there given the current tragic circumstances in Ukraine.
“We are excited about our business expansion to Canada. We greatly appreciate the Canadian people and the government’s support for the people of Ukraine. We see this as a remarkable opportunity to bring our services to Canadian corporations, leveraging the engineering talent we employ in Ukraine, Canada, and around the world,” the Ukrainian tech blog quoted Miratech’s CEO Valeriy Kutsyy as saying.
Meanwhile, Miratech expects to hire a hundred Indian programmers in the foreseeable future.
The Ukrainian IT sector has demonstrated a remarkable resilience during the war with many companies still displaying strong growth rates. Among other Ukrainian IT service companies having recently opened offices abroad recently are N-iX (Krakow), Yalantis (Warsaw) and Creatio (Warsaw), reported AIN.
