Jooble, a global jobs portal founded and based in Kyiv, is pursuing its expansion with an investment in Teraz Work, a service that helps employers outsource their recruitment processes.
While the amount and the terms of the deal were not disclosed, Teraz Work told Ukrainian tech blog AIN that the investment will fuel their plan to expand to Europe.
“We have global ambitions to simplify the process of labor migration. In the future, we plan to help companies in Western Europe find employees from Eastern Europe,” said the startup’s co-founder and CEO (ex-Ecoisme co-founder) Oleksandr Dyatlov in an exchange with AIN.
Founded just one year ago, Teraz Work claims that more than 800 Ukrainian freelance recruiters have already registered to the platform. Its website is currently available in Ukrainian, English and Polish languages.
Jooble already made public two investments in the past, notes AIN. In September 2022, Jooble announced a $1 million investment in JayJay, a Ukrainian-founded edtech startup with activities in Indonesia. In spring 2023, Jooble injected an undisclosed amount into Adsee, a service that helps run recruiting campaigns on social networks.
Last year Jooble also launched a startup studio, ‘Jooble Venture Lab.’ “The company plans to invest and grow more than 10 projects per year, investing in each of them from $100,000 to $2 million,” AIN reported.
