Horizon Capital supports GoIT to “redefine computer science education and digital learning”

Horizon Capital, an international PE/VC investor with a major focus on Ukraine and Moldova, has invested an undisclosed amount in GoIT.

This Kyiv-based startup, founded in 2014, helps aspiring students to learn programming and other digital skills. It claims 20,000 students with alumni in more than 850 tech companies in 15 countries.

Currently, the company is actively developing in Colombia, Mexico, the Philippines, Poland, Romania and other new countries.

GoIT “has demonstrated stellar capital efficiency, growing USD revenues by over 12 times between 2020-2023, while maintaining strong profitability and cash flows,” notes Horizon Capital in a press release

The fund sees in its new portfolio company the potential of “redefining computer science education and digital learning at large.”

“I am delighted to welcome Horizon Capital as part of our team at this critical juncture for our company,” Roman Korytskyy, the founder of GoIT, was quoted as saying. “The additional growth capital will help us accelerate our international scaling and invest in the tremendous opportunities created by the advance of AI,” he added.

This deal is the second investment of Horizon’s latest fund, Horizon Capital Growth Fund IV (HCGF IV), which has received massive support from international finance organizations.
