Earlier this week Intellias, a global software engineering and digital consulting company originating from Ukraine, announced the acquisition of C2 Solutions, a technology service and product lifecycle management firm based in the United States.
Intellias has completed the acquisition of all shares of C2, while the amount of the transaction remains undisclosed.
Commenting on the deal, Intellias’s co-founder and CEO Vitaly Sedler said his firm was “looking forward to fostering relationships with clients in the Digital Health and Medical Devices space by relying on C2’s unparalleled expertise that is complemented by our extensive technological offering.”
“Our goal is to support our clients around the world with the technical expertise and deep industry knowledge that allow us to take on and implement projects of any complexity and size. Strategic M&A plays a pivotal role in reaching that goal, as we continue to build on our track-record of robust organic growth,” stated Michael Puzrakov, co-founder and Executive Chair of Intellias.
Established in Lviv in 2002, Intellias has expanded its presence to 14 countries and employs now 3,200 professionals, mostly in Ukraine. This acquisition follows Intellias’s earlier strategic move in September 2022 when it acquired Digitally Inspired, a UK-based IT service provider specializing in product engineering for retail and e-commerce.
Notably, other Ukrainian software development firms have recently ventured into international acquisitions. In September 2023, Beleven, a Lviv-based developer of digital and mobile solutions, announced its acquisition of Agena Tech, a Swedish company specializing in staffing and recruiting tech talents. Almost simultaneously, InSoft.Partners, a Kyiv-based software development holding, invested in Digis, an award-winning Polish IT solutions and consulting provider.
