Ukrainian startups called to exhibit at CES 2017 Ukraine Tech Expo (deadline: Oct. 5)

The Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) and the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) are announcing the UVCA Startup Challenge: CES Edition, which will be held on October 12 in Kyiv (Kiev).

The selected eight best Ukrainian startups will receive the opportunity to exhibit for free at the Ukrainian Expo of the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas in early January 2017.

The selected startups will also participate in all the press events organized by the UVCA during the event. Thus the startups may not only find new clients, but also meet potential investors and draw media attention.

“Each year nearly 500 startups from all around the world take part in the show – and actually many success stories start from there. The 2017 edition will see a whole section of Ukrainian tech products, ‘Ua Tech Expo,’ for the very first time,” said UVCA executive director Olga Afanasyeva.

“Ukraine has all chances to become the next startup-nation, a country recognized for its technological innovations – and the CES event a is one of the steps towards this goal,” she added.
