Ukraine is among the most promising countries for blockchain technologies, believes western observer

Earlier this month the Ukrainian capital hosted the fourth annual B2B conference and exhibition Blockchain and Bitcoin Conference Kiev. The event brought together over 40 exhibitors and 1,500 local and foreign blockchain enthusiasts, crypto traders, and business angels, which made it the largest event on cryptocurrencies in the country, according to the organizers.

The event featured three following parallel streams: “Finances, business, legislation,” “Development” (dedicated to smart contracts), and “ICO best practices.”

Speaking at the conference was Mike Butcher, the editor-at-large of TechCrunch, who mentioned Ukraine among the most promising countries to develop the blockchain technology today, along with Singapore, Switzerland and Russia.

This event was organized by Smile Expo as part of a series of industry events in the fields of innovation technologies and online communications in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
