PDFFiller, a Boston-based developer of document workflow solutions with Ukrainian roots, is said to have raised “approximately $30 million” from investment firm General Catalyst (USA) and Horizon Capital (Ukraine).
The transaction, revealed by Ukrainian tech blog AIN.UA last week, was not confirmed officially. However, the General Catalyst website lists Airslate – seemingly the new name of PDFfiller – among its portfolio company.
Founded in 2007 by Ukrainian entrepreneurs, PDFFiller defines itself as “a document management platform that allows users to edit, sign, store, and share documents via any web browser or mobile device.”
According to company representatives cited by AIN, the company has more than 400,000 customers. It has more than 500 team members, the majority being located in Kyiv (Kiev) and others in Boston.
