ChoiZy, a Ukrainian career guidance platform founded in 2019, uses artificial intelligence to help school kids get a better understanding of what a given profession entails.
ChoiZy claims more than 18,000 users registered on its Ukrainian platform, with 428 professions featured.
The edtech startup has agreed a pre-seed investment with a Ukrainian business angel. Neither the amount of the deal nor the identity of the investor were disclosed, but a ChoiZy representative told AIN.UA that the valuation was close to $1 million.
According to the tech blog, the current round has not been closed yet, and the company is looking to attract funds from one or several other investors.
The company is working on launching an English-language AI application. The fresh funding will be used to enter the UK and other English-speaking markets.
In 2019, ChoiZy received $50,000 from the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
