US-based, Ukrainian-founded AI startup raises $3 million three months after launch

AiSDR, a US startup founded by two Ukrainian entrepreneurs in August 2023, has just raised $3 million to develop its AI-powered sales support solution.

“Just like a human SDR, AiSDR will reach out to your prospects on your behalf and engage them in personalized conversations with the goal of booking a meeting for you,” claims AiSDR on its website. The solution will take care of virtually all steps — from sorting through leads, to creating tailored email campaigns, to formulating relevant answers to common objections, and more — until meetings are run by humans.

“In just three months, we turned a basic idea into a super cool product that can grow your pipeline and optimize costs,” AiSDR says.

In an exchange with Forbes Ukraine, the Zaremba brothers said their startup, which is based in San Francisco, already had 45 clients, essentially US B2B businesses.

The investor pool that is supporting AiSDR includes Y Combinator as well as various US, UK and Ukrainian investors Among them are Ukrainian funds SID Venture Partners and Flyer One Ventures as well as Nick Bilogorskiy, a figure of the Ukrainian-American tech community.

The Zaremba brothers previously founded a legal tech startup called AxDraft, which they sold to US company Onit in 2020
