‘EU Business Hub’ launches in Brussels to accelerate AI startups and develop ties between Europe and Ukraine

Yesterday the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA) announced the launch of the ‘EU Business Hub’ in Brussels. Under the motto “Cooperation. Creation. Innovation,” this business platform aims to “create long-term partnership relations between Ukrainian and European businesses” and foster cooperation between countries.

The EU Business Hub has three components. One is a “matchmaking investment platform,” which will contribute to “launching economic interaction between Ukraine and Europe.”

The EU Business Hub also includes an “AI-centric startup incubator and accelerator” called ‘Seven Camp.‘ Covering such fields as cybersecurity, fintech, IoT and dual-use technology, this accelerator is open to European tech startups, including Ukrainian startups based in European countries.

Seven Camp’s twelve-week program includes “free access to offices and event spaces, weekly networking events and workshops as well as 1:1 strategy guidance and pitch training.” Each cohort will also receive a total of up to €350,000 in cloud credits and €100,000 in SaaS perks. Startups may apply to be part of the Seven Camp’s first batch until March 1.

The last component of the EU Business Hub is a business club, touted as a “vibrant hub of action.” It aims to attract “leaders” who want to “pave the way for European digitalization” and “set the direction for the development of the European and Ukrainian societies.”
