Ericsson, Facebook, Intel CEOs and other key executives to speak at Mobile World Congress 30th edition

Mobile World Congress, a four-day international conference on the mobile industry and adjacent industry sectors, will hold its 30th edition in late February 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. More than 95,000 attendees  are expected to attend the event.

Among the most highly anticipated keynote sessions is a presentation by Derek Aberle, the president of Qualcomm Incorporated, who will be joined by guests from the MERCEDES AMG Petronas Formula One team, including the three-time world champion driver Lewis Hamilton, to discuss how wireless technology is transforming the future of consumer automotive through motorsport.

Several exhibits focusing on specific technology areas including the Graphene Pavilion, Green Pavilion, IoT Pavilion, Mobile Money Pavilion and Wearables Pavilion will be featured in the program.

All the keynote sessions will be live streamed online via a dedicated channel on Mobile World Live, which generated almost 400,000 page views during the week of Mobile World Congress 2015. Several keynotes will also broadcast live on Mobile World Live TV on more than 60 screens across the venue, as well as in more than 24,000 rooms at 180 hotels in Barcelona.

The event is being organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, a foundation comprising the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Barcelona City CouncilGSMA and Fira de Barcelona.
