Trump’s decree could affect Ukrainian IT specialists

Last week US President Donald Trump signed a decree “Buy American, employ American workers,” which strengthens the protection of certain goods produced in America and calls for a revision of the H-1B visa program.

This program promotes the work of highly qualified foreign specialists in the US in order to reform this program.

The working visas H-1B program for highly skilled workers is popular among high-tech US companies. Eighty-five thousand visas are annually provided in the framework of this program, which allows companies to attract employees of technical specialties from around the world and not least – programmers from Ukraine.
