The second edition of Hackathonbridge, a contest which is being held throughout this year until Sept. 30, aims to help the creative youth from Poland, Ukraine and Moldova implement their innovative ideas.
Business, social and cultural projects with the most innovative solutions will compete to receive financial support with a grant pool of 45,000 euros. People until 35 will create teams, with at least one representative of any of the two member countries.
One of the main goals of the contest is to help participants acquire practical fund raising know-how.
Training to prepare proposals according to the main European requirements, both from business investors and EU institutions, will be provided.
Participants will also be offered trainings on project management in Ukraine, Poland and Moldova.
To participate, a project should be submitted no later than April 30, 2016.
The project is being organized by the Svichado charity fund, iHUB Kyiv in Ukraine, the Poland Solidarity Fund in Moldova, and Startup HUB Poland under the supervision of Michal Boni, a member of the European Parliament.
Hackathonbridge was launched in 2014. Among the winning projects of the first edition of the contest were:
- Two business games for entrepreneurs in the field of waste management and adaptation to climate change ;
- A 10-day intensive English course in Zakopane (Poland) for Ukrainian and Polish children;
- A Polish-Ukrainian laboratory of documentary movies “Lab Docu Toloka.”
