Ukrainian eSports team wins $125,000 at international contest

NAVI.GG.BET, the team of the Ukraine-based e-sports club Natus Vincere walked away with a $125,000 prize for the victory at ESL One Cologne 2018, the international tournament for the fans of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The contest was held on July 6-8 in Germany.

This year, the fifth edition of the event brought together 15,000 attendees and 16 teams from a variety of countries. The Ukrainian team defeated its rivals from Kazakhstan, the USA, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Denmark.

This has been the team’s third victory in a row for the past few months, reports Ukrainian tech blog AIN.UA. NAVI.GG.BET won the CS:GO Asia Championships 2018 and StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 5.
