Last week Roosh, a Kyiv-headquartered company that develops international AI technologies, announced an investment in Neurons Lab.
This UK company provides research, development and consulting services for SMBs to create solutions in the field of artificial intelligence — typically in health tech, energy tech and other segments. Neurons Lab claims to develop up to ten projects per year.
Roosh acquired a minority stake for an undisclosed amount. Roosh Managing Partner Den Dmitrenko and Partner Kyle Ukho will join Neurons Lab’s board of directors.
“Through this agreement, Neurons Lab will be able to gain access to new customers, partners and the Roosh network, which will significantly expand our customer base,” stated Igor Sydorenko, co-founder and managing partner at Neurons Lab.
“It was Roosh’s experience in the development of AI/ML projects and access to a unique international network that became a decisive factor in the decision to start our joint path.”
In August Roosh took part in a $4.2 million round for Regression Games, an American AI gaming and eSports company. The round was led by New Enterprise Associates with Andreesen Horowitz (a16z) and BBQ Capital also joining.
Founded just months ago, Regression Games is “building the platform and ecosystem to make competitive gaming and eSports with artificial intelligence accessible and enjoyable for everyone. “
Since its inception in 2020, Roosh has developed an ecosystem around AI/ML projects, including the venture studio Pawa, the venture fund Roosh Ventures, the non-profit AI House, an IT university and an e-learning platform. The Roosh ecosystem also includes two deep-tech startups, ZibraAI and Reface.
