Touting itself as “the capital of freedom,” Ukraine will welcome “dreamers, innovators and creators” to its national pavilion at WebSummit. This famous event will take place in Lisbon from Nov. 1 to Nov. 4 this year.
“Prominent startups, VC funds, IT service companies, government institutions, and ecosystem organizations of Ukraine are gathering together to present the biggest tech hub in Eastern Europe to the world,” says a dedicated website.
The pavilion will offer an opportunity to “meet WOW people from Ukraine that represent the resilient IT industry of the fighting country” as well as “top achievers and game changers of Ukrainian tech ecosystem.”
The organizers want to show that “Ukrainians can help grow international businesses and startups” and that “the best time to invest in Ukraine is now, not after the war.”
No fewer than 24 select Ukrainian startups will be showcased in WebSummit’s ’Startup Alley.’
