‘Ukraine in Washington:’ Online conference focuses on innovation and reform (Dec. 15-16)

The US-Ukraine Foundation (USUF) will hold a two-day online conference on December 15 and 16, 2020 to explore the topics of innovation and reform in Ukraine. A large group of policy experts and international business leaders will cover these key areas:  regional security; defense; air and space; energy; IT and tech; biotech.

Since 1991, the US-Ukraine Foundation has taken the lead in Washington and Kyiv to promote human rights and democratic and economic reforms in Ukraine.  Its programs are designed to foster a better understanding of Ukraine and its role on the global stage and to encourage mutual cooperation between the country and the USA.

This conference looks at the impact on Ukraine from the 2020 US presidential election and discusses new opportunities to advance both public and private strategic partnerships.  Panelists will discuss in detail Ukraine’s expanding role in IT and its many accomplishments in technology particularly with the ongoing launch of global startups.  Attendees can view a virtual exhibit area to become better acquainted with the companies and organizations that are playing a major part in Ukraine’s economic growth.
