Uber Shuttle operates in Ukraine with multiple violations, a local journalist found.

In her article for Ekonomichna Pravda, Iryna Latysh noted the following issues:

  • The van parked at a pedestrian crossing.
  • During a police inspection, turned out that the driver did not have the necessary driving category.
  • Drivers work 10-14 hours a day.
  • Uber Shuttle itself does not have proper transportation licenses.

The service launched in the Ukrainian capital in May this year. The opening ceremony was attended by mayor Vitali Klitschko and former Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelyan.
